MALE, Maldives — Villa College has successfully concluded the VCM DIGITAsia Piloting Phase 2 Onboarding Workshop for Work Package 3. The milestone event, which took place on March 14, 2026, culminated in the final presentation of innovative Capstone Projects by participating faculty members.
The workshop marked a significant step forward for the institution, with 15 lecturers successfully completing a series of rigorous training modules and capstone projects. During the final session, participants presented comprehensively redesigned course modules tailored for modern academic delivery.
With a total of 17 lecturers now officially onboarded to this piloting phase, the initiative directly advances Villa College’s strategic commitment to "Education 5.0." The training focused heavily on equipping faculty with advanced skills in digital pedagogy, learning analytics, and course quality enhancement. Through these modules, educators refined their methodologies to construct more learner-centred, inclusive, and technology-enhanced educational environments.
This latest milestone contributes directly to the broader piloting of innovative hybrid courses across the region. It reflects the core mission of the DIGITAsia project: to cultivate future-ready educators and drive a sustainable digital transformation in higher education teaching.
