MALE, Maldives — Continuing its momentum in educational innovation, Villa College successfully conducted a comprehensive Mid-Semester Review for the VCM DIGITAsia Work Package 3 on Monday, June 29, 2026. The session focused on evaluating the ongoing piloting phase of the institution's newly redesigned hybrid courses.

The Maldives National University (MNU) has successfully commenced the implementation phase of the Education 5.0 – Digital Transformation of Higher Education Training Programme, marking a significant milestone in the DIGITAsia Project's Work Package 2 (WP2): Skilling-Up for Education 5.0.

The SLTC Teacher Training Capstone Workshop, held on 29th April 2026, brought together 20 teachers from diverse faculties under DIGITAsia Work Package 02: Skilling Up for Education 5.0.

The Islamic University of Maldives (IUM) successfully conducted the “Education 5.0 – Digital Transformation of Higher Education” Training Programme under the DIGITAsia Project initiative, bringing together academic staff from across the university to strengthen future-ready teaching competencies and digital education practices. The programme was attended by 60 academic staff members, reflecting IUM’s institution-wide commitment to advancing digital transformation and innovation in higher education.

MALE, Maldives — Villa College has successfully concluded the VCM DIGITAsia Piloting Phase 2 Onboarding Workshop for Work Package 3. The milestone event, which took place on March 14, 2026, culminated in the final presentation of innovative Capstone Projects by participating faculty members.
